Concluding observations of the Human Rights Committee, CCPR/C/CHE/CO/3, 29 October 2009: review of legislation and practices to restrict access to, and legitimate use of, firearms and storage of service firearms; concerned about police brutality against persons during arrest or detention, in particular against asylum-seekers and migrants; non-respect of the principle of non-refoulement for persons subjected to persecution by non-State actors; need to ensure adequate standard of living to rejected asylum seekers; make reparations for past injustice; review law prohibiting marriage or partnership in relation to a person with no regular residence status in Switzerland.
