Professor of International Law
Professor Michel has been a member of the Graduate Institute faculty since 2008, and is also a Full Professor at the University of Geneva, Faculty of Law.
Professor Bianchi has been a member of the Graduate Institute faculty since 2002. He has previously held the following academic positions: Full Professor at the Catholic University, Milan; Associate Professor at the University of Parma; Assistant Professor at the University of Siena.
Alexandra Boivin works for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), heading the sector in charge of outreach to universities, within the Communication Department.
Christian Bovet est professeur ordinaire, doyen de la Faculté de droit et membre du rectorat de l'Université de Genève. Depuis janvier 2005, il assume en outre la vice-présidence du régulateur suisse du marché des télécommunications: la Commission fédérale de la communication (ComCom).
Director of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies
Member of the Institute Faculty since 1988. His research focuses inter alia on Fascism and Nazism, 19th and 20th-century military occupations and the World Wars.
Head of the Political Affairs Division IV, Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs
Ambassador Claude Wild has been appointed Head of the Political Division IV, Human Security of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) and has taken over his duties as from August 2010.
Barbara Wilson studied law and obtained her doctorate in law at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. She is at present Professor of Public International Law at Lausanne University.
